It makes me so angry that POC politicians are bashed and discriminated because of their ethnicity. Nate Shinagawa is running for Congress in NY 23rd Congressional District .But for these radio broadcasters Bill Nojay and Bob Savage, they decided to play the race game as if he’s not good enough for Congress. First, these idiots kept saying that he’s from the “People’s Republic” (China) then they played asian folk music at the end of the broadcast. Do these men not know that not all asians are from China and Nate Shinagawa is of Japanese descent which is not the PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA. The asian music playing in the background is extremely offensive and rude. Is this how they treat Asian Americans running for office by playing really rude asian music in the background? Unbelievable.
Also worth mentioning:
- Shinagawa is a Japanese name, not Chinese. Chinese names are monosyllabic.
- Shinagawa is from California.
